Well the boy with three Christmases is also the boy with three Easters! Connor participated in three Easter egg hunts this year. By the third one he was a professional, running from one egg to the next filling his basket and saying "more, more". He was in race mode the entire time. How do they know it is a race? Is that something they learn or is that what Matt taught him at the first hunt when I was out of town? My good friend Jennifer's family has a full contact hunt, the children and grandchildren all participate and from what I understand it is ruthless! They trade dollar bills for pennies with the little kids, the grandchildren of course think they are getting the better end of the deal. After all 2 is always better than 1 right?

The first hunt was at Matt's squadron's on base. Being his first hunt, Matt said he was more concerned in putting the eggs in the basket and then dumping them out. The second hunt was at a church in town that he attended with Maddy. The best part about this one was there was a fountain in the courtyard and both him and Maddy were leaning over sticking their faces in it so they could blow their bubbles. We are quite lucky they didn't fall in! The third was in our front yard and the egg trail led him to the side of the house where there was a new Radio Flyer Tricycle waiting for him. He dropped all the eggs and ran for it! Maddy has a matching one in pink and he loves to ride hers so we figured since it is so nice outside right now it would be a great to get a jump start on the bike riding. He doesn't quite reach the pedals yet but it has a steering/push handle that Mom and Dad use to push him around. It even has a bell on it! I have to admit it is pretty tough looking!
