Nacho Dog - The most expensive free dog ever

Well it has taken me a while to write this note. We had some sad news on Super Bowl Sunday. Our favorite Nacho Dog passed away. It was very unexpected and happened very fast. We took him to the emergency room on Thursday and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. We then took him to our regular vet on Friday and he was on an IV all weekend. He had a bunch of fluid in his lungs but the vet didn't really know the cause. He did an autopsy and sent some tissue samples to Texas A&M to see what it was. We should find out something next week.

We sure do miss him. It is amazing how attached you get to your pets. I don't think Connor noticed too much but Lupe, Matt and I sure do. Lupe has started letting us love on her much more, which is very unusual for her. This is really good because we need the extra loving. He was a wonderful dog and we are very sad that he is no longer with us.

We have put the word out that we are looking for another lab. It will be hard to replace Nacho but we think that Lupe needs a friend. Here is a couple of pictures that capture our Nacho.
