Road Trip!

The weekend before last we took a road trip up to Houston. We helped Mom cash in some of her honey do's from her last year's Christmas present. I will say her garage looks awesome. Matt can organize the heck out of a garage....now if he would only help me in the office! We also got to visit with some great friends, Luke and McKenna, from WA that were in town for a wedding. We met up at a new restaurant in the Heights...man has that place changed. We drove Connor by my old house and told him all about Mom's single days....well not really! We also made a trip to the Houston Zoo. There was a slight set back to the trip because Matt broke a window with his hand when he was yelling at the dogs to stop jumping. It is a good thing he is so handy. It took him less than 2 hours to replace everything and make it look brand new.

We are in town for the next few weeks and we are thrilled. There is a ton to do around the house and it is really nice to be in your own bed with all the suitcases put away. Although I am not sure how long it will last, we might try to squeeze in a trip before Thanksgiving to yell with the Aggies.
