A Hunting We Will Go...heigh ho, the dairy-o

Isn't it funny that when you are around a baby all of a sudden you remember song lyrics that you haven't heard in ages. Of course not all the lyrics come back, usually just the chorus and even then it is only partly correct. Most of the time we resort to the songs we know. Connor may be partial to Bon Jovi and Willie Nelson later in life...those are the words we know.

We went hunting this weekend at a camp about 45 minutes from here. When I say camp I mean trailer, we were by no means roughing it. We had fabulous meals of crawfish etouffee, cornbeef sandwiches and migas. The dogs were in heaven and got to run the fields and swim in the lake. They are still recovering. Matt got a doe so the trip was a complete success.

Connor rolled over this weekend from his back to his stomach. The fun has definitely begun. The days of setting him on the floor and walking away will soon be over. He is grabbing everything and trying to put it in his mouth. This morning he tried to eat the cabinet!

Rice cereal update: The high chair has been set up, we practiced with the camera, and the blog is in full force! There just might be some delicious rice cereal in Connor's immediate future!
