Who is Lefty?

Lefty is the nickname we came up with for our son while I was pregnant. We kept his name a secret until his entrance into the world but had to call the little guy something. So we picked Lefty. Why Lefty you ask? That one I will leave for your imagination. Some hints are posted below.
