Well we did it up this year for New Year's. We opted to do some trailer camping with Connor. We headed up to Mathis, which is about 45 minutes away, to celebrate the new year. It was beautiful weather and both the dogs and Connor were good and tuckered out by the time we left. Opa and Nanna joined us the next night and we celebrated their engagement. Matt also got a nice sized (8pt) buck. You can never have too much deer meat! We didn't get too wild and crazy. We played some games and retired quite early. Matt and I were in bed at 11:00 pm on NYE. We watched the NYC ball drop and called that good. We had to improvise bath time and surprisingly enough Connor still fits in the sink.
