Playdates

Things have been very busy this year. Connor and I are on a routine and are constantly on the move. We have music class on Wednesday's and we go to gymnastics on Friday. Music class is still tons of fun. He is more mobile and dances around and claps with the other kids. He has gotten very good at following direction and he puts away the instruments when he is asks. He is very much the teacher's pet and almost every class he goes and sits in Ms. Nan's lap. It is pretty stinking cute and she eats it up!

Gymnastics has to be one of the best things we have done yet. It is at our gym and it is a huge room filled with cushions and he can just run around and burn energy. There is a trampoline and a big foam pit that he jumps into. I don't have any pictures of it but I will take some soon. It is pretty amazing. He of course goes with his best buds Maddy and Clancy and they are non stop. At the end of the session we sing songs and then they get stamps all over. It isn't uncommon that we have a monkey stamp on both hands and feet. Cobi, Maddy's Dad, went last month and taught us Mom's not to be afraid to throw the kids in the pit. You should see us now we toss them in no problem. Matt went with me a couple of weeks ago and was amazed at how much fun everyone had.

The girls and I have also started doing kid swap on Tuesday's and one of us has the morning free while the other two take care of the kids. This has been fabulous for all of us. The three kids play so well together that it is a piece of cake. The only challenge is meal time which can be a little messy.

Here are some pictures from their playdates. The three of them love feeding the ducks and playing in the kitchen over at Maddy's. Be sure to check out the link to Maddy and Clancy's blog on the right for more playdate pictures.

Who says boys can't find their way around the kitchen?
